This Notebooking Central booklet contains 87 templates designed to complement your Precalculus curriculum. Some templates allow students to review important concepts from Algebra II; others hint at some of the exciting topics to come in the study of calculus. Topics include functions, unit circle, vectors and dot products, conics, polar graphs and equations, and an introduction to limits--see Table of Contents for complete list of topics.
This series of Notebooking Central booklets is a response to teachers who asked for Notebook Foldables that:
- provide graphics to aid memory and comprehension
- provide front tabs that elicit student responses on the back of tabs, underneath tabs, and on the notebook page surrounding tabs
- provide ideas for the use of Notebook Foldables within different content areas
When using Notebooking Central booklets, choose the concepts and templates that will best advance student learning, and use suggestions from other pages to generate your own ideas. Present a concept, then have students outline and design their own Notebook Foldables.
Notebook Foldables can be easily integrated into any notebooking program. For more in-depth information on Notebook Foldable strategies, please consider Dinah Zike's Notebook Foldables for Spirals, Binders, and Composition Books book and companion CD, a 2011 Teachers' Choice Award winner.
