Dinah’s Trainers

The Dinah Zike Academy was founded with the intent of preparing presenters to help share Dinah's message and methods, and many of the educators who attend have an interest in becoming certified trainers. There are multiple categories of certification to fit participants’ interests and availability. We feature here some of our most active DZ trainers from around the United States.

Sherri Lane
DZ Certified Trainer

I spent 20+ years in the classroom, 7 years developing and coordinating a New Teacher Induction Program for new teachers and their mentors. Currently an Educational Consultant for Region 9 ESC, collaborating with 37 school districts to provided training and technical assistance. Also a guest lecturer for several years providing Foldables training to preservice teachers at Midwestern State University. Has been a DMA trainer since 2013. Background experience teaching both children and adult learners gives a foundation for training a variety of audiences in workshops that are engaging and interactive. I grew up in Texas and attended Texas A&M (whoop!) where I met my future husband and subsequently moved to Wichita Falls, TX. Married for 35+ years now, we enjoy sailing, traveling and cooking with our children and their families. As a lifelong learner, my personal learning focus is the art of jewelry metalsmithing and testing creative recipes of jams and sauces. Why am I a DMA trainer? I am fascinated with the science of how the brain learns, and Foldables definitely live up to the research of how students retain learning effectively.
