TEACHERS

Keynote Presentations or Make-and-Take Seminars For:
District-wide Staff Development, Continuing Education Programs, Education Conference Keynotes, Student-Teacher Classes, Daycare Staff

Dinah does several different presentations, but her most popular workshop is entitled Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum With a Focus on Math and Science. This session is often hosted using Eisenhower Funding and it is appropriate for K through 12th grade teachers. Participants leave this hands-on session with a minimum of twenty action-based, multi-disciplinary manipulatives that they can use immediately with their students. Dinah has presented this session to 650 participants in a classroom setting, and to an unlimited number of participants in auditoriums with seats equipped with fold-out desks.

Dinah is noted for presenting practical, instructional strategies and:

• Activities that reduce paper use district wide.
• Activities that give teachers innumberable alternatives to ditto sheets.
• Activities that integrate science and social studies into the whole day.
• Activities that can be used for alternative assesment.
• Activities that integrate the use of publishing centers and portfolios.

PARENTS

Dinah presents these fast paced, motivational, educational sessions to teach parents new and creative ways in which to supplement their child's education. Parents leave these 1-3 hour sessions with fun, innovative manipulatives and ideas that will help them help their children...
