Dinah founded her academy with the intent of preparing presenters to help her share her message, and many of the educators who attend have an interest in pursuing certification in the use of her strategies and techniques.
Dinah and her team have developed multiple categories of certification to fit participants’ interests and availability:
Advocates are focused on opportunities to participate that don’t involve so many presentation commitments. Advocates are valuable helpers in conference booths, writing journal articles, providing content area Foldable examples, writing conference proposals, and other non-presentation tasks that allow greater scheduling flexibility.
Specialists have deep content knowledge and passion for their content. They have limited opportunities to present and are only interested in presenting in their content area or have only provided presentation evidence in their content area. We specifically want our specialists to create amazing content-specific Foldable examples.
Intermediate Trainers are those with limited presentation evidence, limited presentation availability, and/or preferences for presenting to smaller audiences or specific grade levels or content areas. Our intermediate trainers frequently help us with conference proposals and presentations in their geographic area, as well as assisting in conference booths.
Advanced Trainers have the desire and availability to make greater commitments in terms of time and presentation variety and are asked to help us with conference proposals and presentations, help in conference booths, and conduct workshops, Advanced Trainers may be invited to help present chunks of our DZA institutes (part of the day’s instruction).
Trainers-of-Trainers have the desire and availability to make the greatest commitments of time and energy and offer greater levels of DZA institute involvement, conference booth work, conference presentations, and workshops.
